Tulip House

This mid-century Seattle home, settled on a quiet street in the Seward Park Neighborhood, called for a modern facelift and more open floor plan living, all while staying true to the home's MCM history. White Space Design Group created a light and bright interior space that was grounded by a rich base of deep greys and warm woods that layered with linens, wools and leather. The fabric and materials were consciously selected to support the large family, pets and a durable and beautiful space for entertaining. Window treatments were intentionally omitted in order to create transparency between interior and exterior spaces, and to enjoy the gorgeous and expansive waterfront views of Lake Washington.
